Alvine Gumo

Picture
_ Alvine is a very hard-working student at Pathfinder Primary and his determination has paid off as he ranks in the top 10% of his grade 8 class. His favorite subject in school is science and he scored a high score of 94 on the most recent exams on the science portion. Alvine strives to become a neurosurgeon because he wants to help people who die because they lack sufficient medical access. His cousin is a neurosurgeon and he looks up to him as his roll model because he has helped save the lives of many people. Outside of school, Alvine enjoys swimming and reading storybooks. He lists green vegetables as his favorite food and would like to travel to New York City if he had a chance to travel anywhere because he would like to see how big and diverse it is. Alvine's father passed away and his mother is now raising him and his two sisters on her own. She doesn't have a real job and hawks fruits at the market to try to earn a living but people don't often buy. She is currently unable to provide sufficient food at home and pay Alvine's school fees and those of his sisters. As a result, Alvine will have no way of continuing his education if he cannot find a sponsor for high school next year. He promises to work very hard if he finds a sponsor and is unsure what he will do if he cannot find one, but he will try to work with his mother to get school fees. Alvine hopes to attend Lenana Boys High School. Sponsor Alvine
