_ Cynthia, at 12 years of age, is the top performing class 8 student at Pathfinder Primary. She scored a 445 on her most recent comprehensive exam, far surpassing the 400 mark needed to be accepted at a national high school. Her favorite subject is mathematics and she scored a 94 on the math portion of her most recent exam. Cynthia wishes to become a pilot she she grows up so that she can see other parts of the world. Her favorite food is chips and she has many hobbies outside of school. She likes cycling and playing soccer, her favorite team being Manchester United and her favorite player being Rooney. She also enjoys attending church and singing. Her roll model is Wangari Matthai because she cared about the environment and did so much work to improve it. If Cynthia could travel anywhere tomorrow, she would go to the United States because she wishes to see the White House and to meet President Obama. She lives with her mother and 2 brothers. Her mother tries to pay her school fees but only has a job as a migrant farmer so she only earns $1 a day and only during harvest season. Cynthia sites a lack of adequate money at home as the biggest problem her family has. She hopes to find a sponsor so that she can achieve her goals of attending high school and becoming a pilot. She says she will be very happy and will work hard and thank God for the opportunity. She hopes to attend Lenana Girls High School. Sponsor Cynthia
