Daisy Kulecho

Daisy is eight years old and in third grade. She lives with her mother who is too ill to work, and her father lives away from the family in Nairobi. Daisy enjoys studying English at school and hopes to become a teacher if she is able to finish her schooling. When not in school, she likes reading, skipping rope with her friends, helping her mother out at home and going to church with her.
