Dorcus Lumuli

 Dorcas is nine years old and in the third grade at Pathfinder Academy. She lives with her mother and father, but her father is too ill to work. Her mother sells peanuts at the local market earning a modest income of approximately $1 a day. Dorcas enjoys studying religious studies at school and wishes to become a doctor when she grows up so  that she can help the sick. She needs to find a sponsor if she is ever going to be able to achieve these goals though, as her mother cannot afford to pay her school fees. Dorcas enjoys playing hide and seek with her friends when she is not in class.
