Everlyne Moghambi

Picture
_ Everlyne is one of the most intelligent and capable students in Pathfinder's Class 8. On the most recent comprehensive exams, she scored the 2nd highest score of her class with a 432, far above the cut off for students to attend a National High School. Everlyne says that mathematics is her favorite subject and she aims to become a doctor when she grows up so that she can help many  people. Her doctor is in fact her roll model and she wishes to grow up to be like him because he has done so much to help her and her family. In addition to excelling in school, Everlyne participates in many extracurricular activities. She enjoys playing netball, dancing, singing, reading and creative writing. She also enjoys cooking and her favorite food is arrow roots. If she could trave anywhere in the world she would visit the United States because she says it is the country that has assisted the most Kenyans. She wants to see New York City. Everlyne has many problems at home. She doesn't live with her parents whom are both migrant farmers. She instead lives with her uncle, who also cares for her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. He is a farmer earning barely $1 a day and therefore finds it virtually impossible to care properly for his 5 nieces and nephews and they often go without proper meals. Her mother has hepatitis which has hindered her ability to care for her children. Everlyne says it is crucial that she finds a sponsor for high school because it is only with a sponsor's assistance that she will be able to attend high school and reach her goal of becoming a doctor. She will be very happy an will work very hard of she gets a sponsor. Everlyne wishes to attend Lenana Girls High School. Sponsor Everlyne
