Hagai Akundi

Hagai is six years old and in first grade at Pathfinder Academy. His father earns a small and inconsistent income working as a moto driver in the local village of Kiminini, and his mother doesn’t work. Hagai’s favorite subject in school is Kiswahili and he wishes to become a moto driver like his father when he grows up. Hagai likes helping his mother at his house and herding animals when he is not at school.
