Jessica Nasimiyu

Jessica is nine years old and in grade 3. Her favorite subject in school is English and she wishes to become a nurse so she can help sick people get better. Jessica has two brothers and three sisters. Her father works as a bicycle repairman earning barely $1 a day. Her mother has fallen ill and can no longer work. She stopped attending school because her parents could no longer afford her school fees, but her teachers asked her to come back because she is such a bright and promising student. She needs to find a sponsor if she is to continue attending school.
