Sheila Khaemba

Picture
_ Sheila is one of the top students in her class, performing in the top 5% of students and scoring a 402 - sufficient for being accepted to a national high school - on the most recent exams. Her favorite subject in school is mathematics and she performs very well in math having scored a 94 on the  maths portion of her exam. Sheila hopes to become a lady justice when she grows up because she wants to bring fairness and justness to the country of Kenya. Her roll model is Justice Nambuye because she's one of the ladies in Kenya who is trying to bring justice to the country. Outside of school, Sheila enjoys singing both in and out of Church. Her favorite food is chicken curry and rice and she would love to travel to the United States because she thinks it would be interesting to see the contrast between Kenya and one of the most developed countries in the world. Sheila has many problems at home. Her father has passed away and her mother lives far away and hasn't had a big presense in Sheila's life for a long time. She lives with her grandparents and 2 sisters and 1 brother. Her grandparents are becoming elderly and weak and cannot hold jobs and therefore have problems feeding and educating Sheila and her siblings. Her school fees have been waived this year at Pathfinder so that she can complete primary school, but she will not be able to attend high school if she cannot find a sponsor. Sheila promises to work as hard as she can to acheive her goals if she finds a sponsor and if she does not, she will continue trying to go to school but will have to look for work also. She hopes to attend Lenana Girls High School. Sponsor Sheila
