Summit Kilimanjaro for Lenana Girls!

Climb on with Lenana Girls High School’s Kili Challenge 2012. Passionate
people move mountains (or climb them), so if you’re feeling passionate and
energetic, then join us.
The CGA will working in conjunction with Summits Africa to give you a chance to make it to the roof of Africa. Remember, we are plannning for 14 people only.
Mt Kilimanjaro Challenge 2012 Itinerary
· Saturday th7th July: Arrive at CGA – welcome talk & dinner
· Sunday 8th-14th July: Getting to know CGA and its projects
· Sunday 15th July: Depart for Nairobi for over night stay.
· Monday 16th July: Depart for Moshi for over night stay and Kili briefing in the evening.
· Tuesday 17th July: Begin Kilimanjaro climb (7 days Machame route)
· Monday 23th July: Return to Arusha for over night stay
· Tuesday 24th July: Lazy day to rejuvenate. Celebration lunch in town
· Wednesday 25th July: Visit to a Traditional Maasai Boma (village in Longido)
· Thursday 26th July: Back Nairobi and fly out.
You are welcome to stay at CGA for up to 7 nights. You may like to extend your time in East Africa with a wildlife safari or take a trip to Zanzibar, Tanzania’s historic spice island or to Uganda.
Logistics
The total cost of this trip (in USD) is $5,000 which includes a $1,000 tax-deductable donation to Lenana Girls. We suggest fundraising your donation portion and see just how much you can raise with the support of your family, friends and community. We are happy to support you during your fundraising efforts and you will receive a pack full of tips and suggestions to give you a head start.
What is included:
• All meals and accommodation at CGA for 7 nights (maximum) stay
• LocalTour, celebration lunch out and dinner at Via Via, in Arusha
• Transport to locations specified in above itinerary
• Airport transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Nairobi and all ground transportation.
• 7 Day Machame Route Climb with Summits Africa.
What is not included:
• Any drinks bought during meals out and drinks other than tea and coffee during your stay at CGA
• Tips to your Kilimanjaro guide/porters
• Medical/travel insurance (compulsory)
• Visa to enter Tanzania or other countries
• International & Domestic flights
