Why Sponsor?

Educating girls is the most important and effective long-term investment in the developing world today. Education is the only way to ensure girls escape societal cruelties such as female genital mutilation and become equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to earn a living and care for their families. Women spend more money on their children's school fees and healthcare than men do, guaranteeing that your investment in one girl will be passed on generation after generation. All of the students pictured below have been hand selected as incredibly promising and intelligent students capable of doing great things with their lives but lacking the financial means to attend high school. Your generous sponsorship will allow them to break the cruel cycle of poverty and break free from the constraints traditionally imposed on young women and will allow them to continue with their education and attain their goals.

All of the children listed below are bright, promising students who are in need of sponsors if they are to continue with their education. If you cannot afford the full amount of a sponsorship, your donation of any size will contribute immensely to a needy student's education.
